Just sewing along...

Not much to share today. Just sewing some scraps together, then sewing random strips around them. No plan, no clue really what they will become once they are done. I just sew until they are at least  8 1/2'' inches, then I trim them to that size. Why 8 1/2''? Because that's the size of the ruler that was laying on the cutting table.

Feel free to offer suggestions on what I can do with these, if you have any.

Enjoy your Monday!
Diane

  8. This is my favorite type of sewing! I call it free-style sewing. Just enjoying the process and the fabric to see what happens. I've made several potholders using this style. Add some Insulbrite as a middle layer, a backing and maybe a binding and wallah! No two are alike! Sometimes I don't even add a binding, just leave an opening to turn it inside out.
