One is never enough!

I'm working on Crimson Tweed by Sue Spargo too.
The Comfort and Joy Quilt has gotten lots of attention this weekend. I am making good progress on my filler parts and my added blocks (to increase the size) but I wanted to work on my other Christmas sampler as well.

I've been working on this quilt (by the way...have you seen Sue's new website? Very snazzy!) I've been hand stitching the berries to the border while Kelly rides at the barn. I've discovered I can get quite a few berries appliqued during a two hour session. One or two more rides, and I should be done!

I've made a few changes to the pattern. I replaced the pomegranite with a patchwork pineapple, and I edited the leaves at the bottom a bit because I may or may not have cut the strip the wrong size. I also added the nine patch border along the left side to icrease the size of the quilt. It needed to be wider so I can hang it over the piano.

I just love Sue Spargo's work, don't you?
