Tiny Twister

I made this little quilt from the pattern and template set I bought last fall at the East Cobb Quilters Guild show. I found it in the Sweet Home Quilt Shop book but I know it's also available at Thread Bear Fabrics.

If you want to look locally, the pattern is by Primitive Gatherings and it's called Itty Bitty Primitive Pinwheels.

The pattern starts with 2.5 inch squares sewn together, then cut apart using the twister template that comes with the pattern. They finish 1 inch square. So "Itty Bitty" is no exageration!

It was so fun to make that I made an even smaller version from just two scraps. I layered 3 pieces of batting and did minimal quilting so it can serve as a hot pad during the holidays!
