Book Review

On my way home from guild today I stopped by the local quilt shop and bought a new book!

Away from Home by Nancy and Oliver Rink is not only beautiful, but chock full of stories and diary entries and historical information about the girls who worked in the Lowell Factory. Oh, and the quilts are amazing!

I can't wait to snuggle in bed tonight and really dive into the pages of this one. Kansas City Star publishes such eye pleasing books. Not only do they smell good (love that new book smell...yes, I know I should have been a librarian, sigh!) but they are so well designed that each page just gets better than the next.

I have no idea where to start so I think I'll just read it cover to cover!
