There's a brand new quilt shop in Flat Rock, NC! It was so exciting to discover this lovely shop on my visit this week. I had no idea they were even there until my mom's neighbor mentioned it! She told me about it one night at about 9pm and I was there just moments after they opened the next morning. What can I say?
It's bright, beautiful, cheery, and has an amazing selection for a new shop. She is getting more bolt of fabric in every day but truly, if you are in the area...run, don't walk to this place!!! The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful and spent lots of time showing me all the features of the shop and even the secret chamber in the back that holds the long arm! There is a classroom all set up with machines just waiting for students and classes.
There is a gorgeous "rainbow" wall of batiks and basics and in the back corner, there's even a place for relaxing. I didn't get a good photo of them, but do you see those framed blocks way up on the wall over the bolts? Those are samples of the blocks they can cut for you on the accuquilt cutter. If you buy your fabric from them, you get to use the cutter for free! How awesome is that?
As if this shop isn't cute enough, make sure you go to the bathroom...I mean seriously!?! How cute is that?
If you want to find out more about the shop, they have website at www.BeginningsQuiltShop.com and they are located at 1032c Greenville Hwy just south of Hendersonville on the way to Flat Rock.
So fun to find new quilt stores. There seems to be a quilt store for everything if you look hard enough!
ReplyDeleteI sure wish I lived closer to this one though! She has gorgeous fabrics!
