Also, I've been busy making a cute pillow. It is from selvage and it's just the right size to take in the car on a long trip, or to sit on a chair and just look cute. My husband said it looks nice but it's useless, and I told him than as long as it looks cute, it doesn't need to be useful, besides, I made it for ME not him! lol

Now I'm waiting for the star of the week from Temecula Quilt Co. so I can get it made before the big weekend plans get underway. A party, and some serious relaxation!

ReplyDeleteOh, that is beyond cute. selvages are just fun. I discovered that husbands sometimes just don't seem to get it when it comes to things that are solely for cuteness. You can tell him that a whole slew of women agree that pillow is cute and useful.

DeleteCute throw pillow! My husband doesn't like throw pillows and thinks they're worthless too. So I made one and embroidered the words he always tells me when I start to melt down 'It's All Good'. hehe I LOVE that pillow.:)

DeleteWhoop whoop! I love your pillow, too! My husband recently asked for a quilt for himself. I was shocked and amazed and excited. But then he told me, he wanted a quilt with the layout of his favourite racetrack appliqued on it. With curbs and black and white flag. At least I know what to give him for christmas this year ;o)
