Quilting on the road...

No I'm not literally in the road and stitching...I am in NC spending some time with my mom while she has a little eye surgery and recovers. I've left my kiddos home with their dad to survive the first full week of school together. Hmm, not sure how that's going to go, but there will be some fun stories when I get back no doubt!

I've brought along some hand work to do while I wait in offices and at home with mom. It's a project I started a couple of years ago. I have no time table for which I hope to finish this one. It just seemed like a good project to keep in a little bin for travel.

I thought I was all organized and clever with my little bin of hexies...

Until I saw my friend Christine's bin of hexies...

How cool is that?

Hopefully I will be able to post some quilts spotted on the road or shops visited. But I'll only be able to post from my iPhone, so they will be quickies. Have a wonderful week where ever you spend it!

  1. Love your little hexies project. It looks like a very good traveling project!

I love to hear what you have to say, sadly, the spam has gotten ridiculous, so I will be approving comments from now on. I apologize for any inconvenience and I truly appreciate you taking the time to comment. Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
