10 Minute Tip
Just tingling with anticipation aren't you? I know, me too!!!
So now that your machine is all clean and your bobbins are wound, you might think you are good to go...but oh NO you aren't! If you don't have time to sit and sew, or you're just not inspired to work on one of your ufo's, or you just don't have the energy to start something new...
*FOLD SOME FABRIC*
I know you have some that needs it. Don't tell me all your fabric is perfectly folded and put away. No one will believe it! Let's face it. We pull fabric out thinking we will use it, or we use just a bit of it, and then it gets pushed to the side, or dropped back in the bin, or shoved in a "scrap" basket. But really, you will be amazed at how much order you can create from chaos by just folding some fabric.
Pick one area (table top, bin, basket, drawer, etc.) and fold the fabric and put it away, where it belongs. For me this is just opening the bins and folding the pieces I've tossed back in. Now that they are folded they can be tucked into place and I can actually see what I have.
It might seem silly, but just try it, you'll be amazed at how quickly you can see an improvement. And you might even find something that was missing, or that you forgot you had! Ask me how I know!
