More Comfort & Joy!

This really is such a fun quilt a long and I want to thank Anne at Cottons n Woolens again for such a good experience. I'm having the best time watching this quilt grow. But before I reveal this month's block, let's do a little recap of the blocks we have so far!
Block 1:

(which now has window panes)

Block 2:

(which now has arms and is actually standing up right)

Block 3:

Block 4:

Block 5:

Block 6:

and the rest of block 6:

(please note that I am a much better quilter than photo editor!)

And now for this month's block...tada!

Block 7:

And let's not forget that I've been making some extra blocks along the way:

And no, it's not your eyes, they really are blurry.
Like I said, I do much better with needle and thread than I do with iphone and editing.

This is really coming together so well. I need to start thinking about what border options I want to add. My goal is to have this fit a full size bed for the holidays. I think an inner border of green, then a small pieced border (maybe half square triangles) and then an applique border would be fun. That could all change, but that's what I'm thinking about right now.

What I should REALLY be thinking about is the gifts I want to make for Christmas!!!
Have you started your gift sewing yet? If yes, good for you!
If not, welcome to my world.

Now go see the rest of the blocks HERE
Enjoy every stitch!
