I was going to share a set of blocks I made last night for the guild raffle quilt. But since I have to rip them all apart and start over, I decided not to. They were supposed to be all scrappy and I made each of them two fabric only. Apparently I missed that part of the memo. I do that often...
So instead I am going to show off the amazing work my friends have been doing. Yesterday at guild meeting we got to enjoy some really cool stuff! I'm so lucky to have a group of women who inspire me so much!
This quilt was made by a wonderful woman also named Dianne (but she has a bonus n in her name) and she called it Dad's Plaids. It's a wonderful quilt that I might have to make from some of my dad's shirts.
Then my friend Patsy made this quilt from the Bonnie Hunter book "Adventures with Leaders and Enders" for her granddaughter. Isn't it great?
And my friend Mary Ruth has been sewing up a storm. She had several quilts finished. But this one was made using her paisley fabric collection. How cool is that?
Mary Ruth made this quilt for the holidays and I am so in love with it that I am going to have to make one for my bed. Sigh. I really wanted to sneak this one home with me. And our friend Lynda Johnson did some amazing quilting of holly berries and leaves on it. Everything about this is wonderful.
You've already seen all my show and tells. So now I'm off to spend some quality time with my seam ripper. Ugh.
Have a great weekend...enjoy every stitch!!!
Wow, these are fabulous quilts---I'll have one of each, please. ;) I especially love that first one---have an ongoing love affair with plaids. :)
