Not just black & white

This is a small quilt I made recently for the The Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI). A friend in our guild is in contact with Ami Simms and we have supported this cause in the past. I have made at least one (maybe two?) small quilts for this organization in the past.

This quilt is simple. It looks black and white at first, but if you look closely, it's more than that. Isn't that so true for almost everything in life? It's a small effort, but it's something.

I encourage to go take a look at the website, lots of good information and interesting quilts.

Enjoy every stitch!

  1. I adore your little quilt. The subtle color variation is perfect! I have been thinking about your little tumbler pattern. Still pondering how I want to do mine.:)
