And have quite a few more to go. But the scrap bin is far from empty, so I should be fine.
But mostly I've been taking care of this baby...
She's a lot more demanding than she looks! She finally has a name, Luna, from Harry Potter, after Luna Lovegood. Beautiful but high maintenance. Appropriate. Maybe she will let me quilt tomorrow.
Enjoy every stitch!
Diane
LOVE het name! Luna... ^.^
ReplyDeleteWhen my boys were little the oldest two had the habit to lay in my hoodie when I was doing things. They loved it, being close to me and still be able to sleep while I did laundry or doing the dishes... Maybe you could give that a try?? If not, cuddle with a kitten is the next best thing to sewing, don't you think?
My daughter Kelly wears her hoodie backwards and puts Luna in it. She loves it! They go everywhere together like that.
DeleteLove your huge mountain trails quilt!!
ReplyDeleteYour little kitty is so adorable. I can understand why he needs your time.
Hi Lori, I actually changed the block so that all the strips are going the same direction to see what would happen...and it looks EXACTLY the same! I wanted to link up to your post but was worried someone might say...hey, why are all your strips going the same direction? haha
DeleteThanks for the inspiration!
Your Mt. trails is looking great! Sounds like you've been busy with your new friend too!
