Quiet Time...

I just love that quiet time of day, when everyone else is busy doing their own thing and I can just sit and enjoy the lights on the tree. That might not happen much around here this week though.
My boys turned 14 on Friday and had a wonderful weekend with friends and family. My mom is here for a visit and to help out a bit. And tomorrow my sweet girl is having surgery. It is going to be a long recovery for her and I truly hope that she continues to be as brave as she has been so far. I am so proud of her and love her SO SO SO much. So things might be quiet around here this week while I take care of her. If you want to read the whole story, it's over on the family blog.
All of your support, love and prayers are greatfully appreciated.

    1. Thanks Audrey, the surgery went well and the doctor was able to remove all of the tumor and place the bone graft successfully. He says the tumor looked benign but the results will come back in a week. We are so relieved it is over and she is recovering! Thanks again!

    1. Thanks Diane, it's been very stressful but we are so happy that she is home recovering! She is doing so well, already becoming a pro with the crutches. We appreciate all the kind wishes!
