Back from Brussels
I was lucky enough to travel along with my husband this week on his trip to Brussels. (Please note that I did NOT travel in the cockpit with him, I enjoyed a sleeper seat in first class.) I do this once a year so we can enjoy a couple of days alone. I had not been to Brussels before, but it was truly as beautiful as I had heard.
We ate some fresh, hot waffles.
We drank lots of good coffee.
We ate an amazing array of delicious foods.
We even found a fabric shop.
It was so delightful, walking in the snow, and just taking in the sights.
But I'm glad to be back, I've got some quilting to do!
I need to make a red and white sample of this quilt.
And I need to get some patterns written for two more projects that will be in magazines.
I wonder who is going to do the laundry, while I quilt? hahaha
I hope you get to do a little quilting this weekend too.
Enjoy every stitch!

Welcome back!! A red and white quilt is on my to-do list for ages, but have too much other thingies that will have to go first. Mine will be a logcabin bearpaw-pattern which I designed myself. I'll show it sometime on my blog.
ReplyDeleteHappy sewing!!!
Thanks, I love the look of red and white, I don't know why I haven't made one before now!
