10 Minute Tip

This week's tip is something I have been doing almost daily....

MAKE A BLOCK

That's right, you might not have time to really dive into working on a quilt, or even turn your machine on...but if you have a few minutes, you can open the scrap bin and take out some fabrics that make you happy...

cut them up...

and sew them together...

This block is my first attempt at a "liberated" basket, Gwen Marston style. That woman is amazing, and I thought I could never screw up the courage to just sew some pieces together into a basket, but I did, and I LOVED it, and now I'm a little bit addicted.

So what block is waiting for you? A basket, a star, a nine patch? Don't over think it, just go see what happens!

Enjoy every stitch!
