Book Review

I purchased this book the other night. Bill and I were waiting for some friends to eat at a Mexican restaurant, and we arrived early, so he went to the electronics store and I went to the book store. I headed straight for the quilt books of course. I have never bought a book made for "precuts" because honestly, I tend to hoard collect fabric in larger amounts. I love scrap quilts but the cover of this one caught my eye. It is beautifully photographed. There are several quilts I think I might have to try, and I can cut my own strips. Several of the patterns are based on antique quilts, and I am so drawn to those. I would highly recommend this book even if you don't have any jelly rolls. I might just have to go out and buy one now. *grin*

Enjoy Every Stitch!

  1. Very interesting that it has quilts based on antiques. I'm not a pre-cut fan either, but our quilt group has talked about doing a jelly roll quilt together. Maybe this would be a way for everyone to enjoy it!

  2. I bought this book too and can't wait to try one of the quilts. I am a fan of jelly rolls because that is how I made my first quilt top.
