10 Minute Tip
When I am working on a project that requires special settings on my machine, and I need to leave the machine and turn it off, I snap a photo of the screen. This way, when I come back to the machine and want to start working again, I know exactly what settings to use. So my tip this week is...
SNAP A PHOTO OF YOUR SETTINGS
It's not like using a photo instead of your brain, well, it is, but my photos are much more reliable than my brain! Maybe you remember what you are doing all the time, but I'll be the first to admit that I don't! What did I ever do before my iPhone?
Enjoy every stitch!

Brilliant. I find myself snapping photos of many things. An arrangement on my design wall. The way I arranged my Christmas decorations (I print out the picture and pack it in the box with the decorations. Next year, I can give it to my husband and tell him to replicate it. He likes that and it really helps me.) I also take pictures of books I want to read, so I have the title/author, etc. I also take photos of where I park--especially at the airport when I may not be back for days!
ReplyDeleteWhat did we do before digital cameras or camera phones!!!! Great tip.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea Diane! I'll have to pass that one on to my mom.:)
