Feeling the Love...

(borrowed from Barb's blog, obviously)

ALL DAY LONG! Honestly, I think I have some pretty great friends in real life, but it turns out I have some really cool friends on line too. Yesterday, as I was flipping through my blog list, I was so pleased to see that Barb had made the cutest stinkin' jack o' latern from my tiny tumbler template. How clever is she? I was so impressed that I gave it a whirl myself. I haven't sewn these together yet, but they are going to be kind of cute...almost as cute as Barb's. Thanks for making my afternoon Barb!

(a short fat one)

(and a tall skinny one)

Then after dinner, I took a peek at my iPad and found Audrey's post about her fun version of a project I recently had featured in Primitive Quilts Magazine. Seriously!?! Two love letters from bloggy friends in ONE day! How lucky am I? They really know how to make a girl feel special!

And I must also mention the response to my new pattern that I released yesterday...WOW, I think that's the fastest first sale I've ever had...23 minutes from the time of posting. I smiled all the way to the post office yesterday afternoon with my little brown envelops of goodness for some fellow quilters. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart, for the support, the kind comments, and the love. I really, truly appreciate it very much.

Now, I'm off to spend the morning with some friends stitching those pumpkins together.
Enjoy every stitch!
Diane
