10 Minute Tip

I spent some time this weekend getting all my appointments, teaching obligations, bee meetings, guild activities, etc. all into one location. I am the queen of lists. I have a guild binder for all those lists. I have a business binder for all my receipts, contracts, etc. I have an idea binder with all of my sketches. You get the idea. Some people call it organization...I call it survival. But I needed to get everything in one place for a master plan, so to speak. After filling it in, it became obvious why I'm feeling overwhelmed. I hope that by putting it all in one place I won't miss any shipping deadlines, or applications, etc. I like being able to write down notes about what I can do to prepare the day before, so I'm not surprised when I wake up and realize "Oh, THAT'S today !?!" I don't want to tell you how much that has happened lately. Ugh.

So now that I'm all organized in my agenda, who's going to make sure I don't lose this little baby? Just kidding! I need to find a much cuter one for next year. Maybe I should add that to a list.

Enjoy every stitch!

  1. I agree totally! I keep all my stuff in my Franklin Classic planner binder which I LOVE.. My DH has his calendar online--but I am definitely a pen and paper gal.

  2. I used the Franklin planner for years. I too use a "real" calendar. If you find a cute one, let me know. they are usually to small to write on.

  3. I love it! So smart! I have been keeping my dates in my iPad. Guess what! When I updated the system, everything duplicated. Soooo, when I fixed that problem, my entire calendar deleted! I was a mess and hop I don't forget anything! I like your plain calendar because you can see the entire month. What brand is it? If you want a pretty one, the AQS Engagement calendar is always pretty. It is a weekly set up.
