FALL MUG RUG SWAP

I've mentioned a time or two that I joined the Fall Mug Rug swap over HERE and I am so glad I did! I've met a really fun quilter named Diane (same as me) as she and I were assigned to be swap partners. We have emailed a few times, and as of last week, we have also swapped our mug rugs. As you can see, she also sent me a couple of lovely goodies to go with the two beautiful mug rugs. She made an adorable tea bag travel pouch, which will come in very handy when I travel, and she even stuffed it full of a variety of teas! Then, she included yummy looking recipe for cookies, that I am anxious to try next weekend when the kids and I have a free moment or two to play in the kitchen. And as if that wasn't enough, she hand crocheted the most gorgeous scarf for me from the softest yarn you could imagine. It has a stunning lace edge the entire length and looks terrific on (if I do say so). My daughter tried to steal it immediately, and while she is welcome to borrow it, this baby is all mine! hahaha

I'm so glad I included a few goodies for her to enjoy as well. In addition to the two mug rugs, I sent her a quilted covered journal and a couple of patterns from my shop. I'm pretty sure I got the better end of this deal, though she did seem pleased.

I would highly encourage you to join a swap if you haven't before, it was loads of fun and the best part is...I have a new friend!

Enjoy every stitch!
Diane
