While I didn't get much sewing done this weekend, I did get some very happy mail on Friday. I ordered this pattern from my friend Missie. It was hard to decide since all of her patterns are so gorgeous, but I had been tempted by this one since the first time I saw it. It is all wool applique on cotton, so it will be a good project to take with me to my bee group, or sew ins at the local shop.
I'm really excited to get started with this one, maybe I'll get time to start assembling some possible fabrics and wools for it tonight. Wish me luck!
