I did it, I actually did it! I finished this quilt for my sister and still have 3 days to wash it, and wrap it! I am so happy, and relieved, to be done! This was the last quilt to finish before the holidays and I am so very glad to say "I finished it!" The kids recognized some of my dads shirts in it, and I know my sister will too. Hope she loves it as much as I do. *fingers crossed*

And while I was out photographing the quilt, I also caught a great sun flare. Who can resist a good sun flare? I was so thrilled by it that I walked into a fresh pile of Bailey poop while photographing it. Nice.

Here's more finishes, more sun flares, and fewer piles of poop!

Enjoy every stitch!

  1. Very beautifull! I love this dark blue background and the shirting blocks.

  2. Oh my - what a Beautiful quilt! She is just going to love it!!!
P.S. Also cracking-up here when I read about Bailey - too funny (unless, of course, I'm the one stepping in it ;o)
    Merry Christmas!!!

  3. Your quilt is gorgeous! I knew you would finish in time. These things have a way of working out.:)

  4. great finish - I'm sure your sister will love it.
Not sure what a sun flare is, but it's a cool photo.
