5" fun!

Look what my friend Mary Ruth made for me from my 5" tumbler! How fun is that? I love the fabrics and colors. I have no idea how I got so lucky to have friends that are so good to me.

And my friend Martha used the same 5" template to make a baby quilt for her precious new grand-niece. Look at that adorable baby checking out her new quilt! Don't you like the way Martha used very light half blocks around the edge to make a border? What a fun quilt...and lucky baby!

And I put this top together last night using the 5" template. It uses six fat quarters that my daughter wanted a very long time ago (2009 maybe?) and then never did anything with them. *gasp* So I confiscated it and used it to make this little quilt. It only took about 10 minutes to cut, and an hour to piece and is a perfect size for a donation quilt.

Quite a variety of projects, all from the same tumbler template. Now do you see why I'm just a tiny bit addicted?

Enjoy every stitch!
Diane
