Book Review

This book is one I found in my guild's library and I have been enjoying it very much. It is not a fancy book, or one with quilt patterns ready to make. It is simply hand drawn blocks with a name and sometimes a date and source listed. I really love books like this because the lack of color and setting lets me use my imagination. This is the book I found the star block in that inspired my red, white and blue blocks for the Olympics. This is a great resource if you are looking for a block that can be used for scraps. These blocks are not classified by size, so you can draft them in any size needed by using graph paper. The possibilities are endless!

Sadly, it is out of print and amazon does not seem to have a copy currently available, but your local or guild library might have a copy. It's worth looking around a bit for.

Enjoy every quilt block!
