Looks like it might be time to do something with these. Am I crazy that I want to make a king size quilt with them? Don't answer that question please.
Oh, and I stocked up on my emergency rations. Because you never know when you are going to have an emergency. *wink*
Meanwhile, Buddy took a little nap on the bean bag. If you are curious...he's a Lhaso Apso with a perpetual bad hair day. He's about as smart at he looks, but he's sweet so we love him anyway.
Have a great week!
Diane
Great job you did cutting all those tiny tumblers, do you cut them many together? I love Lhaso Apso dogs, I have a friend in France who bought a new born one last year, too too cute! I am like you very fond of chocolates, and have a box next to my computer!
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, I do cut them stacked 4-5 together if I can. It is funny that you have Lhasos too! I would love to see a picture. They are wonderful, opinionated little furry friends aren't they? Have a great day!
DeleteHow could I not answer the question? If a king-sized quilt of tiny tumblers is calling you, then do it! I know you would do a brilliant job. On the Paper Pieces website they have a series of photos from someone who made a king size quilt from the 1/4" hexagons!!
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't exactly make me feel better, but at least I know I have company in my little land of crazy ideas! hahaha
DeleteHave a great day!
Why not make a king sized tumbler quilt? Great way to use up some fabrics.:)
ReplyDeleteExactly, I do have a king size bed, so I've made three so far...just not one entirely from 2" pieces. It might get a bit heavy with all that fabric and thread. LOL
DeleteMaybe I'll think on it a bit longer. :)
