It's no secret that I'm a huge Sue Spargo fan. I may have squealed when I actually got to meet her in person. Luckily, she is very sweet and made no comment on my level of enthusiasm. I digress. She is so talented and such a wonderful teacher. I am in awe of her colors and stitches and folk designs. I love them all.
This book is her recent attempt to create a "stitch library" in one book, and it is so beautiful, not to mention useful. She covers 50 stitches and not only describes how to make them, but has diagrams and beautiful photos of the finished stitches.
The book is organized into sections which makes reference super easy. But it's also filled with wonderful information on threads, needles and all kinds of tips for using the various supplies.
The back of the book also includes an index of all the stitches so you can flip to the one you want if you know the name of it. How cool is that? Sue really does a great job with this book and makes it totally worth adding to your library! (And no, this is not a paid endorsement, just a very enthusiastic fan of all things Sue!)
Now, go enjoy every stitch!
