Inspired by...

The laughter from the room next door filled with my favorite teenagers.

The shapes and colors of the ship.

The whimsy of towel art.

A rainstorm in the distance over the sea.

The artwork on board.

The shades of blue and turquoise created by the shadows of the clouds on the water.

The humor.

The massive grandeur.

The unexpected!

The ocean that was calm and still as glass.

These were just a few of the things that inspired me last week. I know I'm going to draw and design and create for quite some time based on the amazing experiences we had. While I did not sew a stitch all week, I kept filing away mental notes and iPhone photos for later. I was in awe of the ocean, the sea creatures, the sky and the incredible design of the ship. Even the food was beautiful.

For the record...I did waterslide through the shark tank, swim with stingrays, and relax on the beach in St. Maartin. My kids and hubby went parasailing, zip lining, rock wall climbing and jet skiing while I watched. Someone has got to take the photos and hold all the stuff!

I'll stitch something soon to share...I promise!
