New Opportunities!

 

Have you guessed my exciting news yet?

Yep, I've been asked by Craftsy to be a contributing writing for their blog.

I am so stinking excited about this that I can hardly stand it!!!!

I submitted my first article yesterday and I am sure we will have some editing to do. Their system is new to me and I am still learning the ropes and how it all works.

I have plenty to say and share so it won't keep me from blogging here, it will just be in addition to what is happening here. Don't worry, I will be sure to send you over there every time something of mine appears. We all know I can't stand to keep secrets!

 

 

Also, I am so so so super excited to be participating in the debut of a wonderful new line of fabrics presented by Clothworks.com They are releasing a line of beautiful 100% cotton solids that are grown, made and produced entirely in America. How cool is that?

 

I have been asked to make a block representing my state for a debut quilt. Oh the ideas are spinning in my head already. Knowing my love of history, it probably won't take too long to see where this is going. I am so honored and thrilled that they asked me.

 

 

And I may have mentioned a time or ten thousand, that I am a COVER GIRL this month! I spotted the magazine on the shelf for the first time the other day and I absolutely stopped the next dozen perfect strangers that I saw and showed them my cover and my photo. The bag boy at checkout had the cutest response upon seeing my photo. He said...Hey, that really IS you!!! As if I would lie about it! ha ha ha

 

I am so sincerely grateful for each of these opportunities, and the many more that I have been blessed with. Thank you so much to each and every person who has cheered me along the way. My friends and fellow quilters astonish me every day with their kindness and friendship, I am the luckiest quilter I know! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
