It might be tiny enough to fit in the palm of my hand, but this little pincushion is finished!
And reversible!
I decided to try this technique after seeing a trunk show at guild that had lots of cathedral window quilts. I have never thought I could make an entire quilt of them, but thought I would try a tiny pincushion. I was right about the quilt...NOT going to happen, but I am pleased with this little bitty project.
I learned the basics from this book, and while it was labor intensive, it was not difficult. Does that make sense? I might make a few more pin cushions, but I doubt I'll go much bigger than that.
Basement update: all of the moisture and weird smell is gone, along with most of the flooring. The new carpet and flooring will be installed next week. Fingers crossed the quilt room is taken apart/ moved/ moved back/ and reassembled without further complications. Sigh.
Enjoy every stitch!
