(This is Buddy, he would like to lick the plate if there is any left.)
I did not take a photo of my tuna salad because while it is delicious, tuna salad is NOT photogenic. So here's what I do...
Tuna Salad Recipe
2 cans chunk white tuna
2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 cup of mayo (adjust depending on how moist you like it)
1 tablespoon of mustard
sea salt to taste (I use about 1/2 teaspoon)
fresh ground pepper to taste (I use about 1/2 teaspoon)
onion powder to taste (I use about 1/4 teaspoon)
We love this served in pita, or with crackers. Sometimes we get fancy and put it on pumpernickel, top it with a slice of cheese and broil it for a few minutes to make a 'tuna melt'. Personally, I like it on toast with a big fat slice of tomato and some lettuce.
Enjoy every bite!

Mmm... sound delicious! I never thought to add hard boiled eggs to tuna salad... this might have to be today's lunch! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of our classical summer salad, but I had not the idea to add celery! Thank you!
