I made another Splash quilt. I wanted to have one of my own, since the original is with my mom. I chose to use batiks for this one and I'm happy with the overall result. I did try to quilt it to look like "water spashing" and I kind of think it looks more like I was "quilting under the influence" but it's fun and finished! LOL
You can find the pattern HERE in my Craftsy shop.
You can see the original version HERE in my earlier post. And just for fun leave a comment telling me which version you like better! I will choose a random comment by friday and send you a free PDF version of the pattern. It pays to read a whole post doesn't it? LOL
Enjoy every stitch!

Love the 2nd one you made - love all the bright colors. But I also like the one you made for your mom and hey ... it was made with your Dad's shirts so you couldn't go wrong there either.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!!
I love both but this week I think I like your mom's version. I'm on a grey and black kick this week.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy all of your projects and look forward to your blog posts.

Love the story of your dad which connects the first quilt, but I do love the colorful version. No need to put me in the drawing- I've got a long enough list! lol
ReplyDeleteBoth of your Splish Splash quilts are beautiful! My favorite is the colorful batik one. Thanks for the chance to win the pattern.
ReplyDeleteI like your mom's quilt for the memories there. I love the color in your version.
ReplyDeleteI love the batik quilt - but then a memory quilt is special as well....must we choose??
ReplyDeleteI love the blue one, first because I love blue and you did the memory guilt of your dad shirt for your mother. Enjoy your day.
