Book Review

It's no secret I'm a HUGE Jen Kingwell fan. I almost hyperventilated when I met her at spring market. Seriously, I was in awe. And wouldn't you know it? She is as kind and lovely in person as her quilts are gorgeous! Her daughter was absolutely adorable as well. So it will come as no surprise that I had her book pre-ordered the moment it was listed on Amazon. I broke out into a cold sweat when I got the notice that it had been shipped...what if it was lost in the mail? what if it was delivered to the wrong house? what if I wasn't home when it arrived? I was THAT excited about it.

I wasn't disappointed. The quilts are beyond gorgeous, and the pillow patterns are so tempting! I have read the book word for word, down to every last detail she gives about supplies and techniques. Sure the photos are real eye candy for any quilter, but the information is abundant! 

On a scale of 1 to 5 I would have to give this book a 7 1/2 .  I can do that because it's my blog and my scale. LOL
