Honestly I spent so much time sewing this weekend that I was too tired to blog! Remember that crazy list I shared last week? Of course I didn't get all of those things done, but I did manage to make progress! That and I did five loads of laundry.
Luna was not at all impressed by my business. She thinks I should spend more time filling her food bowl. I did give her some extra food on Saturday and she thanked me by barfing on the sofa. TMI? Just keeping it real folks.
I did get most of the balck and white strips I had cut sewn together. This is my Lime Twist pattern that was originally featured on the cover of Easy Quilts. Have I already mentioned that a few thousand times? I still can't believe it!
And I sewed 24 of these strippy blocks together. I use 2" x 17" strips. I sew eight into a tube and then slice and dice and resew until VIOLA! These blocks are found in my pattern One Way Ticket, but I am trying to figure out a clever border for this one. That could take a while because I now want to start another project. My attention span seem be that of a puppy at the moment. Speaking of puppies, here's Boomer greating Kelly after she's been at the barn all day...At almost 50 lbs. he is convinced he is still a lap dog.
Enjoy your week!
Diane
