1718 AGAIN

Are you getting sick of this quilt yet? I hope not because I am almost half way finished making the blocks and I refuse to give up now!

I really liked the way these little tulip blocks turned out. I made a total of four of them, two in each color way. I also made this little lady...

She's far from perfect but I like her. I like how her hat looks like it has feathers on it because of the background fabric. Obviously I did not plan that, but it's cute anyway. Her arms seem a little long to me but that will go perfectly with the little man block...I'm working on it now and his arms look long too. So they make a good pair at least!

Enjoy every stitch!

  3. I think this is this is the block that makes me love the quilt the most! Yesterday I almost, almost ordered the book then backed out. I am just not sure I would actually MAKE it because I don't have good enough fabric for it especially after seeing yours. hehe Love how yours is coming together!

  4. I'm enjoying watching all your blocks take shape! Even though I am not participating, it's been lots of fun watching all the different configurations evolve!

  6. Wow--you are going great guns on this one. I am officially behind by a month now--no April blocks finished and it's not looking hopeful for May either. Your lady block is so sweet!
