It's that time of year again! I always look forward to the Blogger's Quilt Festival! Even if I don't participate, I always enjoy visiting the blogs of those who do. I have met some wonderful online friends through the quilt festival, and I hope that this year will be the same!
This year I'm entering two of my quilts. I have chosen Memory Lane, to go into the Large Quilt Category. I didn't measure it, but since I'm using it on my king size bed, I am betting it qualifies. LOL
I machine quilted this quilt on my Janome Horizon with a free motion foot. It was my first attempt at feathers, and I figured if I didn't get good at it doing a king size quilt, there really wasn't any hope for me! I loved every minute of stitching this quilt, and I love sleeping under it even more!
I hope you enjoy the Blogger's Quilt Festival and visit all the quilts! Be sure to leave comments for those you like, or those that inspire you. Bloggers have feelings too, and they love to hear from visitors!
And if you feel so inclined to vote for one of my quilts, that would totally make my day! But no pressure...*wink*
Enjoy every quilt!
Diane

ReplyDeleteHello Diane !
ReplyDeleteUsually, I am a repro quilt lover but.....when I saw your scrappy quilt a few seconds ago ...I really felt in love with it ! It is amazing with these colors !!
Fingers crossed and good luck !
Your feathers look great! I have one king done and working on two more. Love sleeping under quilts also.
ReplyDeletewonderful quilts! Love them both
ReplyDeleteBoth of your quilts are wonderful! You did a great job with your feathers. What an undertaking. I also love your scrappy quilt. Putting the lime green boarders really makes it come together. I'll have to try that next time I make a scrappy quilt. Good luck.

ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful quilts!! I love that the 2 quilts show that you move effortlessly between funky brights to dreamy repro.
ReplyDeleteOh my, your Lime Twist really is marvelous! I too am a dotty fabric fanatic! I'm currently making a Scrappy Trips quilt all in dots. Fun! What pattern did you use for your Lime Twist?
