Midnight at the Oasis progress...

I am having so much fun stitching this quilt! I could make another hundred of these orange peel blocks and not get tired of them. I really had fun hand stitching these at bee group, and while waiting for kids, and just stitching a couple every night. It went faster than I expected and I was surprised when I finished! I'm having so much fun playing with bright scraps and deciding which ones to add next. My scrap basket is getting lots of attention lately!

I also decided to add some Tula Pink fabrics to the mix. I found these online at an Intagram destash and couldn't resist. I love buying fat eigth bundles because it give lots of variety without many leftovers.  One can never add too many fabrics to a quilt. You can quote me on that!

I've also started piecing the next  two border blocks. Nine patches and churn dashes are fun, and these are TINY. Three inch finished blocks. That's a good way to squeeze a lot of different fabrics into a small space though! LOL

Don't forget to check up on the progress of the other Midnight quilts over at Julieann's blog.

Enjoy every stitch!
Diane
