Friday Finish

Does a quilt top count as a finish? I do hope so because I've finally gotten these blocks together. I am so happy with the block and the colors and most of these points match up beautifully.

I'm going to call this quilt 'Elsie' because I imagined most of the fabrics I used would have been warn by my great Aunt Elsie. She was the sweetest, kindest woman. I remember visiting her small house and the feel of the cold tile floor and breeze through the window screens. I remember her smile and her kind voice. I remember doilies and soft cotton aprons. Elsie was an 'old maid'. Her sweetheart went off to fight in the war and never came home. Her heart couldn't forget him. She gave her love to her many nieces and nephews who adored her. She's been gone over a decade now, and I like to think that she's with her sweetheart finally.

Have a beautiful weekend friends,
Diane

  12. Many people work on thread and make some color full attractive fabric. This makes a real deal for the user through research paper writing services. They make their home more attractive and beautiful by such act. This leads for the special action for the loving source of fabric. This make beautiful look for the home.
