If you haven't been following me on Instagram lately, these are what our holidays looked like. There was lots of Boomer antics (he ate a spool of Auriful and a set of sneakers within a two day span!) Some Christmas lights and delicious food as well as fun with friends and warm flannel sheets!
We had fun using the new donut maker and there was more food and drink and merriment. Also there was a lot of quilt retreat prep (thanks Kelly!) and terrible traffic as usual but lots of puppy and kitty love and gifts around the tree!
And finally some quilting finishes and more eating and drinking and family fun. We rang in the new year with dinner at the Cheesecake Factory followed by the movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I highly recommend it!
I've also done some reading and finished my first book of the year. I plan to share a reading list and review post at the end of each month. I also added a feature to the left side of the blog showing which book I am currently reading/ listening to. I've had lots of requests for book recommendations, so I plan to do a better job sharing those.

If you want to follow me on Facebook, you can do that HERE
If you want to follow Butterfly Threads (also me) on Facebook, you can do that HERE
I don't do Twitter, and I can only view Snapchat, it's too complicated for me!
Or you can just check back here from time to time. This is much more labor intensive to update, but I promise to do my best!
Oh, and if you're still working with your guild to have me come visit, please contact me to hold dates as soon as possible. My calendar is started to get a little crowded. And a huge thank you to those groups that have been so flexible in scheduling, I am REALLY looking forward to seeing all of you again!
Happy New Year friends!
Diane

ReplyDeleteHappy new year for you and all your family Diane :)
Please, please, please, keep up the blog. I don't do any of the other social media and it's sad when quilters abandon their blogs for facebook and instagram because there are a lot of silent blog followers out there.
ReplyDeleteI'm an IG follower but always enjoy reading your blog as well. So glad that you had such a happy holiday season.
