I love scrap quilts but they still have to be high contrast for me. The muddied look just doesn't cut it. My favorite scrap quilt was given away as a wedding gift. I still miss some of those fabrics - silly, I know. Scrap quilts remind me of my family with all their hopes and dreams and mistakes and failures.
Congratulations Robin!! You are the winner of a copy of my book SCRAP QUILT SECRETS!
If you haven't checked out Robin's blog HERE you really should! She's got some gorgeous photography and is hosting a give away of her own!
Thanks so much to all of you who played along and for all the kind comments and continued support. It really does mean the world to me.
Thank you,
Diane
First off, I have your book and love it! Second, totally agree on needing high contrast in scrap quilts! That contrast allows the eye to follow the pattern and makes a quilt pop.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Don't know what to say. . . . . . . thanks. Looking forward to making something new.
