Crazy for Crazy Daisy

How cute is my friend Carol Lewis with her version of Crazy Daisy? When I visit guilds I'm always thrilled to see quilts made from Scrap Quilt Secrets and this design was the cover quilt. I just adore her bright colors and energetic version of the quilt, it's like her personality!

This is my friend Millie's version. She added some really pretty hues of jewel tones and mixed them up with graphic prints as well as brights. Her fun version reversed the flower placement. I like that because it is unique just like Millie. She is wonderful to work with and I'm so glad I get to!

This pretty pastel version was made by Sue, a regular at the shop. She can produce quilts like a one woman factory. Why do I say that???

Because she made this one too! Seriously, I'm pretty sure she's the only person who has completed two Crazy Daisy quilts, so I am impressed. What impresses me even more, is that she thought of a color combination for this quilt that I never would have. I love her use of a constant alternating color with scraps in pretty soft autumn colors. Great job Sue!

I'll be sharing more show and tell quilts from my book soon. If you have completed quilts or just quilt tops, I would love to see them. Share them on Instagram with a #scrapquiltsecrets and #crazydaisyquilt or tag me @dianedknott. Or share on facebook on my quilting page or just tag me in the photo. Don't do social media? Email the photo to butterflythreadsquilting@gmail.com

Thanks for sharing the photos and the fun!
Diane
