Today I had the pleasure of visiting the East Cobb Quilt Guild Show with a few of my quilting friends. We drove together to the show and as always, we had to pass the BIG CHICKEN and those rolling googly eyes crack me up every time!
The Cobb County Civic Center has been completely redone and updated and it's wonderful! The lighting is amazing and the air conditioning definitely works! The vendors located on the second level around the arena as always and the quilts are displayed on the first level. The new hanging racks are wonderful and made photography much easier than the previous set up.
And the quilt that made me laugh out loud was this one made by a sweet friend who also works at the quilt shop where I do. I've so enjoyed getting to know her better, and she clearly has a great sense of humor. The quilt information card is here...
And the backing fabric for the quilt is classic!
I'll be back at the show Friday morning signing my book from 10-11 am at the Tiny Stitches booth. If you are there please stop by and say hi! If you miss me I'll be at the shop for the rest of the day, and I'm always happy to see friendly faces and will gladly sign your copy of my book any time!
Enjoy every quilt!
Diane
