I'm thrilled to see there's going to be a chance to get an e-copy of scrap quilt secrets. I'm sure your book is worth every cent. However, I have lots and lots of fabric in kits mostly. So, I don't have a lot of scraps. I do have some 1/4 non quilt shop quality fabric I got to make my grandsons some yo-yo clowns and didn't get that done. Anyhow, I've been eyeing, the quilt on your header and finally the lightbulb came on for me - it's the one of the borders on the front of your book. I don't want to buy another book - I have so many books, too. I was librarian of my local guild and loved that job - or at least the book buying part. I'm in the process of combining my sewing "studio" with my bedroom so my granddaughter can have her own room. Currently she is sleeping in a toddler bed in her daddy's room and they are cramped. I thought it would make an adorable quilt for her and for me, too. It would make adorable blocks, too. I haven't sewed in over 4 years since my second husband died. I took my nice, nice machine in for a tune-up and it wad DOA. So, I just took my featherweight in to get it tuned up and then I want to piece. Sort of a new journey, again. I've been helping my son take care of Jessica and she just started pre-K-4 and is changing rapidly. I may have to break down and buy the book. I have one other idea in mind and I don't think they'd gel.
I love to hear what you have to say, sadly, the spam has gotten ridiculous, so I will be approving comments from now on. I apologize for any inconvenience and I truly appreciate you taking the time to comment. Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
Fantastic!!
