3 Boxes of Quilts

I just mailed these three boxes of quilts on Monday. No, they aren't Christmas gifts. Care to take any guesses?

Here's a sneak peek at the quilts. The 15 quilts here represent a huge chunk of my life this year. I am so happy with them, and can't wait to share each one of them with you! But that won't happen until NEXT Christmas. Ugh. I hate waiting!!

But for now, I think I better start my holiday shopping, wrapping, and baking. No more excuses for me. Have you figured out what these quilts will be?

Best guess in the comments will get an award!

  8. Well, if the quilts aren't for a photo shoot for an upcoming book, perhaps they are being entered into a show that is featuring your work! What a lovely representation either way! Congratulations and what a great feeling you must have for a year's worth of creative work!

  9. With that many quilts and a huge chuck of this year's life, I would guess that it's your blood, sweat, and tears for photographs for a new overdue book. I'm trying my hand at writing a book - not a quilting book and am learning that it is a lonely life. I had not planned on this venture and have been encouraged by others to write a book about overcoming the trauma associated with childhood incest. I suffered in silence for too many years and with the help of friends have reported by perpetrator which has been healing although there is no chance of prosecution. The effects are long lasting and quilting helps me to know I have a worth. Good luck, if I am correct.

  27. I'm guessing it's a book also. I thought at first it might be a calendar or quilt journal book for 2019, but it's seems there are too many for that. How exciting for you whatever it is!
