Give Away CLOSED!!!Thanks for playing along!
The folks at Fat Quarter Quilts sent me a couple of copies of the latest edition. I wonder who that is on page 68? Oh my goodness, that would be me.
My quilt October Sky was featured in Easy Quilts a couple of years ago and now they are sharing it again.
So if you are interested in winning a copy, please leave a comment. Just let me know what your favorite magazine is. I will choose a winner Dec. 7.
Thanks and good luck!
Diane
My favorite is Quiltmaker; like the variety of techniques (piecing, applique, etc.), fabrics (contemporary, collections, scrappy, 30s, reproduction, batik) and skill levels presented. Of course, quilt magazines are like fat quarters .. you can never have too many!
ReplyDeleteI love Fat Quarter Quilts, and I especially like you quilt. I love the chance to play with different fabric to make quilts.
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how exciting it would be to open a quilting magazine to see your very own quilt on the page! Congratulations Diane! Did they give you a heads-up that they were going to publish your October Sky again? It's definitely worthy of a second go-round! I don't have a favorite quilting magazine, but am drawn to what's on the cover and the photos of projects inside. This copy would be awesome to have!
ReplyDeleteOh I didn't know this magazine ! My favourite is Quiltmania....

ReplyDeleteI like Quilter's World and Quiltmaker-not really an answer to your question of which is my favorite-but I can't choose! Recently, after many years of subscribing to several quilt magazines, I have let my subscriptions expire-so winning this magazine would be great fun!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this magazine either - I'd love to win a copy
ReplyDeleteThat's why I adore reading blogs-'silent' friends!-as I also did not know about this publication. I love your quilt-have tons of blues that are just waiting for 'something' & this could be it! Thanks, Susan

ReplyDeleteVery pretty quilt. I love log cabin type blocks. My favorite magazine would be a tie between Quiltmaker and American Patchwork & Quilting. Thank you for the give-away.
ReplyDeleteI am quite partial to American Patchwork & Quilting (but also buy other quilt magazines when I cannot resist!).
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy the McCall's Quilting magazine and Quiltmaker because they are two that my public library has.
ReplyDeleteFor years I subscribed to AP&Q, McCall's, and Fons & Porter LOQ. Then I let all my subscriptions lapse. Since then I occasionally buy Quiltmaker, so I guess it would be my current favorite. Thanks and congratulations on being in the magazine
ReplyDeletejoyecox@yahoo.com
Congrats Diane! I have always enjoyed Fons & Porter Quiltmania. Lately I've taken a break from magazine subscriptions though.:)
ReplyDeleteI want to try Fat Quarter Quilts. I am too much of a beginner to make a comment about the mag, but piecing has seemed too difficult - even though I have a good sewing machine. Thanks! I am enjoying seeing the blogs instead of cleaning my house.
ReplyDeleteI really do not have a favorite. I subscribe to McCall's and often browse the magazine shelf at the grocery store. I purchase a magazine if the articles or quilts in that issue appeal to me.
