Happy Holidays!

I'm a bit late but Happy Holidays to all of you! I didn't get a Christmas card mailed this year *sigh* and I didn't get a lovely post up on time *sigh* but the heartfelt sentiments are the same. I am so thankful for this time of year to be surrounded by my family and focus on just having fun and not getting everything on the list checked.

Tonight, the out of town family arrives from Arizona and North Carolina, so we will begin round 2 of celebrations. Once we have exchanged gifts with them, I'll be free to share all of the handmade gift items from this holiday. I was quite the little crafty giver this year. I hope the recipients are as pleased as I have been to share them.

Also, I will be able to share the gifts I received this year! My biggest one being a quilt room renovation that includes built in cabinets and new paint! We still have a few details to finish. I need to choose the hardware for the cabinets and a couple of pieces of furniture for storing quilts and supplies. I'm also going to install a cork board on the wall between the upper and lower cabinets for lots of space to pin notes and small quilts. It's going to be so fun AND functional!

I need to start cooking and baking and cleaning before the next crowd arrives! I hope each of you are enjoying your family and friends and making the most of the holidays.

Best wishes,
Diane
