I had a wonderful time with these lovely quilters in South Carolina this week. I visited them on Tuesday night and presented my Scrap Quilt Secrets trunk show.
On Saturday, I returned for a workshop day with them where we sewed lots of versions of Splash!
A quilt that I've made three times now and love every version.
The first version was made from my dad's shirts for my mom the first Christmas after he passed away.
The second version I made from batiks so I could have one for myself.
Then last week, I made this little version for a class sample. I think using the solids really shows off where the blocks are versus where the pieced sashing is. I loved all of the version that were made in the workshop and I'm looking forward to seeing these ladies again next year!
Thanks for a fun weekend!
Diane
