Arizona

We took a little family vacation this week. We flew to Arizona to see my niece graduate from High School in Tucson. But first we traveled to the Grand Canyon...

It was grand indeed! Then we spent a day in Sedona and had a wonderful time there as well.

Finally, we made our way to Tucson for the grand event! It was so fun to see this adorable girl graduate! She is so happy to move on to the next adventure. She will be at Virginia Tech in the fall with my youngest son, Danny.

Then we flew home last night. The time zone struggle is real! My fitness tracker probably thinks I'm training for a marathon after all of the hiking and walking we did this week. I'm really feeling the experience in muscles I forgot I had. LOL

Oh, and this little box of fat quarters arrived home soon after we did. I did a little shopping at the Sedona Quilter's Store and luckily for me, they shipped my purchase home for me! Please visit them online or if  you ever pass through Sedona, they are the nicest folks you will ever meet and the fabric selection is really fun!

Now I need a nap,
Diane

  2. Not sure which is most impressive: your shots of the Grand Canyon or the awesome selection of fat quarters. :) Sounds like you had a great vacation.

  4. OH my old stomping grounds! I grew up in Arizona! Hiked to the the bottom of the canyon and out...twice. Went to college in Flagstaff and spent MANY wonderful summer afternoons at Slide Rock in Sedona. So glad you enjoyed your vaca.(Yummy fabric too)
