This week I have had the joy of taking a workshop with Bonnie Hunter at my guild right here at home! It was such a fun day to spend with friends and especially learning from the fabulous 'Queen of Scraps' herself! Bonnie is even more fun, energetic, and inspirational in person than she is online.
She is full of wisdom and encouragement! While our quilts may not look much alike, we are both very passionate about scraps. I am so lucky to have had the chance to spend time with this amazing lady that I am honored to call my friend and mentor. I couldn't have enjoyed the day more.
Later this week I will be taking three days of workshops at Tiny Stitches from the Handi Quilter educater, Susan Manry. There is so much to learn about the Handi Quilter and the Pro Stitcher Premium program that I am sure I will be taking notes frantically! I think there are a couple of spaces left if you would like to sign up. Call the shop at 770 565 1113 to sign up.
But the very best part of this week? David arrived home yesterday and Kelly arrives tomorrow. I have to wait until next week for my last kiddo to come home, but having all my babies back under my roof is the best ever!!!
Lucky you to meet in person this beautiful and talented lady !ReplyDelete

I thought I saw you in one of Bonnie's pictures she posted. How fun for you to spend some time with her. She's the best. I'm looking forward to your new book. Enjoy your kiddos!ReplyDelete
