I'm off to Quilt Market this week...

I'm off to Quilt Market this week. I'll be flying to Houston Thursday night because I'm teaching a schoolhouse session on Friday afternoon. It just so happens that Tula Pink is showing her new line of fabric at schoolhouse the very same time I'll be presenting my book, so I don't expect there will be many folks in attendance because they'll all be in Tula's room. Heck, I wish I was going to be in Tula's room.

Saturday at 2pm I'll be signing my new book in the C&T booth. Actually, I'll be signing my first book and just adding a flyer for my new book. My new book won't actually be available until the end of November. Through a great big misunderstanding, I thought my book was actually going to be available for market. So I reserved my hotel and bought a plane ticket. Oops.

Then I'll have Sunday to visit the quilt show and poke around market. I'm sticking around until Monday because I'll be teaching at a local guild Monday night. I will fly home Tuesday so that I can do laundry and repack my bags. Because I'll be flying to Pennsylvania on Sunday to visit a couple of quilt guilds!

If we are going to cross paths, please let me know, I would LOVE to spend a few minutes chatting with you and getting to meet my blog friends in real life!

  4. Well, if I were there at Quilt Market, I’d be attending your Schoolhouse by choice! I can understand your disappointment about the book timing (we’re all waiting patiently, don’t worry), but it will make a great Christmas present. Can’t wait to order one!! Have a fun and safe trip, and take lots of pictures!!
