Houston Quilt Show 2018

(the adorable Rachaeldaisy with her quilt!)

I'm always amazed by the quilts when I visit Quilt Market. While the market floor is buzzing with business, I like to sneak over to the quilt display and enjoy a quiet moment looking at the quilts. This year I was lucky enough to see quilts made by my friends and even get to see some of those friends in front of their quilts! Wheee!

I will share the quilt photo followed by the information card photo with the details of the maker and the quilt. Please know that I couldn't possibly take or share all of the quilts I loved, these are just a few that caught my eye.

Stay tuned for traditional quilts and vintage quilts in future posts. And please note that the photos are not always great due to the directional lighting and access to the cards. Forgive me, I did the best I could with the time available. My apologies to the quilt makers, the imperfections are with the photography NOT the quilts!!

Enjoy every stitch,
Diane

  2. Nothing to forgive, Diane. Thank you for giving us the photos. Love that Racheldaisy and her intricate quilt. Really tickles my fancy. :-) But, oh, the bird quilt. Oh, my! It just takes my breath away. The subtle use of color keeps my eyes moving. What a great memory quilt. Have you ever wondered what might happen if you could take all the raw creativity represented in a show and ball it all up? Whew! Talk about TNT!
